Winter and July – Spring Fever Complaints

Springtime in MontanaIt is another snowy day in Montana. At the end of the month, I’d like to be planting the front flower bed. It always makes me sad that Calendar Summer comes so close on the heels of Montana Springtime. To get to our house, we cross two creeks that are full with snowmelt. The grass beneath this morning’s snowfall is deceptively green.

Besides a bad case of yearning for summertime, everything here is quiet. We’ve put in our required 180 days of home-school and have switched to our 2 day week. The car is running, most of the bills have been paid for the month and I don’t have an ace bandage wrapped around any of my limbs.

I’ve been busy with Eternal Press and Damnation Books. I will be hosting my first Writers Chat Room Guest Chat soon. It is actually high time I got back to my current Novel in Progress, I’ve been away from it so long that I can’t remember what I’m calling it.

Before the kids show up, I need to groom Havan. Did any of you know that a dog can make its ear tunnels narrower at the sight of a cotton ball? That reminds me, I have drool cloths in the washer and need to add detergent.

So, busy people, what have you got going on in your life? Are you keeping up with your projects? Are you gardening? Are you shoveling snow?

I wish someone would email a topic. Any topic, rated G. Then, you won’t have to listen to me complain about SNOW IN MAY!
