With 2021 safely behind us, 2022 came in like a lion in winter.
The world is tired of being sick. We are tired of watching the Inmates (Congress) running the Asylum (Government.)
I blame a lot of society’s woes on the advent of Daycare and Participation Awards. This sentiment does not get me invited to PTA meetings and Children’s Birthday Parties. But, hey, you are not missing a darned thing by my absence.
Besides being tired of being tired and constantly playing Whack-a-Mole with a constantly morphing virus, Judge Judy’s new show, Judy Justice drops about 10 episodes at a time for Streaming. The Judge looks downright energized and happy with her new digs and format.
Come on, Sally, there must be another cool thing about the new year…
Oh, well, shoot, this is kind of exciting.
WordPress dropped version 5.9 with Full Site Editing. This means I can make a design change happen across all of my pages in one fell swoop. This also means there is a 50/50 chance I can create a design flaw that will wreck my site in one equally fell swoop.
This new version of WordPress updated with a Twenty Twenty-Two Theme to take full advantage of the SuperPowers granted by Full Site Editing.
I know, I am that weird white recluse who lives in Montana, tucked in and hunkered down in a way that would make Theodore John Kaczynski envious. This is why a new WordPress Version and Theme is worthy of celebrating.
I began with a Snappy Title for this post, A New One on Me, to tip my hat to a new year.
It is with great sadness, a little anger and a lot of thankfulness that I must confess that no amount of masking, hand washing, distancing, vaccines or other prophylactic measures can prevent even the most Kaczynski among us from catching Covid19.
My son brought Covid home from work. And it turned out to be the gift that keeps on giving. We are all fine, now. I am just disappointed that with all of my efforts over the last two years could not stand up to in home social distancing attempts. But, like I said, we are fine.
Till next time.. Don’t touch anything sharp.
