When I start thinking about writing a blog post I realize I don’t know what to say or I have been saying it all week on social media and really haven’t much to add.
Since Retirement and Covid-19 are the new markers by which I measure my life I have to resist the urge to throw up my hands and proclaim and try out my best impression of Corporal Dwayne Hicks, in Aliens, “We’re all gonna die!”
Let me try to be a little more positive.
From what I have seen and read, Covid-19 death is just awful enough that if the victim were not unconscious and on a ventilator, she might welcome a graceful exit.
Well, my run at positivism didn’t go so well.
Puppies are safe, right? They keep you engaged, get you up and out trying to beat the puppy puddle alarm. Who doesn’t like little round tummies and puppy breath?

They are mailing me a new document to sign, I wonder how long I can hang onto it before sending it back.
Some people are really getting into working from home. The remote classroom learning, not so much.
I have suggested seeking help and tips from Homeschool Families but it seems the Homeschooling parents are on some socially challenged list. You, know, as I think about it, I am a socially challenged homeschool mom. Don’t tap me for help.
I am adding this to the post to make up for starting out with the dire proclamation from Corporal Dwayne Hicks.
