I took the memory card out of my camera and put it on the lap-top so I would remember that uploading the photos was a priority task. Today, is also the Birthday of the Mother of Me, she was 19 when I was born, the second of eight, and she can still hike a trail and looks good in a bathing suit.
Saying Happy Birthday and Uploading photos led me into the various Windows Live Programs on my computer. After posting to FB with the photos and saying hey to the Mother of Me, I came across a blog or Windows Live Writer option. Okay, I thought, I’m here with photos and feeling guilty for not posting on my blog, why not try it out?
The program found my blog and advised me to go in through the dashboard and enable some writing feature. I did, not difficult at all, checked a box enabling what was suggested and came back to Windows Live. It downloaded my template and put the photos on a page. I put up tags, named the album and here I am.
Naming the card in a camera a memory card is a good idea, no, I’m not stoned, it was a thought that crossed my mind as I pushed the little thing into the slot on the computer. These photos are from a Christmas Stroll, a look around our yard and the great Christmas Tree Hunt at our favorite stand.
The Stroll happens the first Saturday in December and was the event that marked my first ‘not date’ with my Darling Husband. I have no idea what a ‘not date’ is all about in 1993 but in October 1994 we married and had our son about twelve hours later. Somewhere, in the dark corners and piles that line our home, there are 17 years of Christmas Stroll Photos.
If I Should Die made the City’s Christmas Dinner and the Christmas Stroll to the Alpacas’ Pen and then to the Tree Hunt.
Okay, I am going to wrap this up, if it comes through to your computer in a stranger than usual way, please let me know, this is the first time I’ve used this program for creating a post. Stay warm, everyone, especially those of you in the SouthEast.

They came through strangely usual…
…The cat was spooky, the dog goofy, and the evening shots, breathtaking.
