I have been looking at an empty text page for two mornings.
I need to post something to Defining Moments.
I browsed the news, television and online and it all seems to be the same topics coming up over and over.
I know I wouldn’t trade places with the ‘Octo-Mom.’ But I don’t have anything to share about the silly situation she put herself in. It reminds me of Andrea Yates, no I don’t expect Nadia to harm her babies, I am interested in all of the people involved in her choices, the people who didn’t stop, pull the women aside and say, this is never going to work out.
When Mrs. Yates was committed to psychiatric care, I wanted Mr. Yates, his mother, the family doctor, and the pastor at their church to get some treatment as well.
When Nadia wanted to use her frozen live embryos, someone should have presented more options to the young lady.
But for both women, IT IS TOO LATE!
Other things still in the news that need to go to the back page include the Flu. I’ve already worn my keys out advising people on the up side of hand washing. Flu or no flu, just wash them.
The Case of the Murder and Disposal of little Caylee Anthony should be allowed to self implode so they can get on with the trial of the poor baby’s mother. That family is never going to be right. We need to stop gawking at them.
On a more newsworthy note, it has been a great winter for voles in Montana. If you have vole trails and small mouse-ish creatures eyeing you, a farm cat it your best bet. I saw a lot of cats for adoption this week while my service dog and I were taking our public access test.
I am sure the cats would love a good vole hunt. They would like new humans to love and shelter them in return.
For those out there worried about the steady diet of voles on a cat, I agree. Give them kitty kibble and fresh water. There are other ways to cull the voles but they are work intensive, unkind and perhaps environmentally unsound.
Thanks for staying with me as I went on about nothing today. Keep coming back and leave comments. Use the RSS button. Suggest a topic.
