Day Two

“Did you place the ad about the baby boy?”

“I did.”

“Are you his mother?”

“Yes, I am.”

“Have you seen the news this morning?”

“No, I’ve been busy.”

“I’m calling to speak with the person who placed the ad in the paper, the one about the baby boy.”

“I am the woman who placed the ad.”

“I am calling from the Department of Family Services and I’d like to come out for a visit, if you don’t mind.”

“I’m not interested in a home visit.  If I wanted to involve your department I would have called or dropped in.  I wouldn’t have bothered to place the ad.”

“Hello, I am calling from KSOL TV 5, I’d like to interview the person who placed the ad.”

“You should be put in jail.”

“Are you crazy?”
