Welcome back L. M. Writerly Wednesday loves returning guests.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"lm\"<\/a>Bio<\/strong><\/p>\n

L.M. Preston was always an avid reader, she loved to create poetry and short-stories as a young girl. She worked in the IT field as a Techie and Educator for over sixteen years. She started writing science fiction under the encouragement of her husband who was a Sci-Fi buff and her four kids. Her first published novel, Explorer X – Alpha was the beginning of her obsessive desire to write and create stories of young people who overcome unbelievable odds. She loves to write while on the porch watching her kids play or when she is traveling, which is another passion that encouraged her writing.<\/p>\n

\nEvery girl has a little \u2018stalker\u2019 in her. I know it. Poochie stalked Scotty, her secret long-time crush, and Sharon stalked Kevin. But now, I stalked Tony. Most times he didn\u2019t see me. I\u2019ve been really careful this summer to give him lots of space. When he played football with the neighborhood guys, I stayed out of the game. It was kinda humiliating to admit that I still watched all the games he played with the other boys from my comfy spot in the dirt under the bleachers.<\/p>\n

1.\u00a0 In three days, all power will go off, everywhere for a very long time.\u00a0 What will you include in your author survival kit?<\/p>\n

My laptop, ipod, pencil and highlighter.<\/p>\n

2. Where did the idea for the work you are promoting arise?<\/p>\n

My critique group had a writing prompt, and although one of the chapters in Flutter Of Luv didn’t make it in the anthology, a story developed from it.<\/p>\n

3. What do you like to read?<\/p>\n

I’m a big horror, young adult and scifi reader. I also like thrillers and mysteries from time to time.
\n4. Tell us about the most exciting place you have ever visited? Italy! I went when I was a Senior in High School and still remember every moment like it was yesterday. I will go back someday.<\/p>\n

5. What is the most mundane, day to day, thing you can share about yourself? I’m not much of a television person. I like it to be on for noise while I write.<\/p>\n

6. What scares you the most? Zombies! I don’t want to be no where around if there ever is a Zombie apocolyse. And I do read zombie themed books with my son and can seldom sleep after it.<\/p>\n

7. Tell us anything but keep it G rated.<\/p>\n

I have a chocolate candy addiction, and I’m not afraid to admit it.<\/p>\n
