Fiction Friday – Untitled

“Marcy, come out here, come quick.” Ellen pulled Marcy out onto the deck.  “Over there, do you see it?”

“I see it, shouldn’t we be going inside?”  Marcy pulled away and started toward the door.  She tried to pull Marcy inside.

“No, look.  It isn’t right.  This one shouldn’t be this far south.”

“Now that it’s closer, I see what you mean.  There’s blue and white under its wings.  Should we call someone?”

“I don’t think so, it has to be here for a reason.  Besides that I’m sure someone already called.”

“But, if we don’t call and they find out we didn’t report, bad things could happen to us.”

“Ellen, you worry too much.  You win, half-way, we’ll go inside and wait it out.”
